This is the springtime of my loving - the second season I am to know

I never thought it would ever go. I cursed the gloom that set upon us…

These are the seasons of emotion and like the winds they rise and fall
This is the wonder of devotion - I see the torch we all must hold.
This is the mystery of the quotient - Upon us all a little rain must fall.

“I long my arms round him to cast

The grip of his warm fingers was a welcomed feeling as the autumn wind whipped around us. I love his hands. Soft enough to reveal his youth, firm enough to remind me how strong he is. We walked further along the sad remnants of what used to be a park that’s now over grown and unkept. It’s as if the hungry forest surrounding us had slowly devoured the spot over decades of little use.
I looked up into his face. His beautiful lips turned upwards at the edges and I melted. Every smile makes me feel brand new. I turned my chin upwards and met his lips with my own. Every kiss is perfect. He is perfect. I broke away to meet his earthy, green gaze and smiled. His warm breath made me feel drunk and I held on tightly to his arm to keep from swaying.
“I love you”, I breathed the words my heart sings at moments like this.
His smile returned in all it’s glory.
He replied,”I love you too.”
My heart found release in the sanctuary of his honesty.
